Have you contacted the organisers Anthony? I know last year they released a few additional race entries in the couple of weeks leading up to the event.
I was in the form of my life in November (ran a 75 half) and wanted to run a sub 3.05 I got crunched playing football at the start of December and I'm still in a lot of pain (pretty sure it's almost destroyed ankle ligaments). I've got an entry for the Kent Roadrunner marathon. It cost me £40 and there is the admin fee of £5. If you're happy to pay £45 then the entry is yours.
If anyone has an entry they no want for this event I'm happy to pay all costs incurred plus a bonus entry to Brighton this year if you want it. Not sure if I'm allowed to do this but my email address is etedavey001@gmail.com]petedavey001@gmail.com if anyone can help.
Thanks RFJ, I have just posted on there too. I'm desperate for a place in this as I can no longer run Brighton and this venue is 10 miles from where I live.
Hi RFJ - I remember you from last year. What ached more for you at the end of the race though? Your legs or your throat from calling everyone's name (on every lap) as you ran past in the opposite direction?
Legs were fine till 19m when I had to stop and assist with a medical emergancy, was kneeling for about 20-30 mins and was very hard to get going again... the voice was a tad rough the following morning.
Hello there people. If anyone has a place and can't make the Kent marathon please give me a shout. It sounds like a awesome event I'm gutted it filled up so fast.
Hi Guys. I'd like to be added to the list also if anyone can't run it for some reason. I did contact the organisers and was directed here. Gutted it filled up so fast. Cheers
I have a place and it's unlikely I can run. Millsy I think you were first on the list, if you DM me we can try and sort it out. If not I thin Rob Jones was second on list.
Hi everyone, would really be great to secure a spot for this as a local Kent lad. If anyone wants to sell me their space I'm willing to pay for this of course. Tpope52@icloud.com
